During the CORONAVIRUS pandemic, I am offering various Zoom personal training classes for cancer survivors and seniors. Cancer Survivors and Seniors are the most vulnerable group and they need to be stay home during this pandemic. But they are the ones who really need exercise now. Please contact me and we can talk about the best way for you to be active right now.
I offer personalized fitness programs to address all levels and conditions. You tell me your needs and we can then decide what I can offer you either one on one training or in the group.
For Cancer survivors 癌サバイバーのために
Many cancer patients and survivors think that rest will decrease their fatigue and speed their recovery. In fact, inactivity can have negative effects, emotionally and physically, and can lead to physical problems such as muscle wasting, bone loss, and decline in heart and lung function.
Through exercise, survivors build muscle strength, increase flexibility and endurance, and improve their capacity to perform activities of daily living, from work to play. Exercise has been shown to reduce their fatigue and improve physical function, strength, flexibility, musculoskeletal symptoms and mental health. Improvements will also be seen in blood pressure, weight, and waist circumference.
Breast cancer survivors’ sessions will include special exercises for lymphedema patients, and education about how to prevent and manage lymphedema.
For Cancer patients still in treatment 癌治療中の患者のためのエクササイズ
As a certified Cancer Exercise Trainer, I can carefully monitor your side effects and give you appropriate exercises so that you can maintain your strength and continue to go through treatments. Being active is very important for survivors who are still in treatment, but it is very important to exercise under a specialist’s guidance.
